Geranium Red Shades

Tender geraniums look spectacular when planted in big swathes in seasonal bedding schemes and are one of the best-loved summer plants. 'Red Shades' copes with dry conditions and thrives in any well-drained soil in a sunny spot. This upright red cultivar is also perfect for a bold splash of colour in pots and containers and if deadheaded regularly, will carry on flowering right up to the first frosts. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 4 - 6cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden once all chance of frost has passed.
