Overview

Hailing from South America, Limnobium laevigatum adds a touch of the tropics as a hardy, decorative floating plant. Its juvenile rosettes boast floating, waxy leaves that gracefully rest upon the water's surface, creating a picturesque scene, while delicate white flowers emerge from the lush green foliage, adding to its charm. Resembling miniature water lilies, its glossy leaves offer shade and cover, quickly forming dense mats, and providing a sanctuary for surface dwellers like gouramies and fry.
