Overview

This compact and bushy evergreen pelargonium showcases lacy-edged, medium green leaves that add an attractive touch to its overall appearance. When gently bruised, these pretty leaves emit a delightful scent reminiscent of hazelnuts, providing a sensory treat for anyone nearby.

During the summer, Pelargonium 'Concolor Lace' produces small clusters of cherry-pink flowers that beautifully complement the foliage. To fully appreciate its aromatic qualities, it is recommended to position this scented geranium in a location where its foliage can be easily brushed, such as containers or raised beds. In such settings, the plant will gracefully cascade down, creating an elegant and fragrant display.

Care guide

Pot up in free-draining compost and grow them on in a bright, frost-free spot. Move plants outside only after all risk of frost has passed, placing them in a sunny, sheltered position. Water regularly, allowing the surface to dry slightly between waterings, as they dislike being constantly wet. Remove faded flowers and yellowing leaves to keep plants tidy and to encourage more blooms.

Feed every couple of weeks through the growing season with a dilute high-potash fertiliser such as Tomorite to support flowering. Pinch back leggy growth to maintain a bushy shape, and bring plants back indoors before autumn frosts if you wish to overwinter them.
