Overview

Pale blue to white flowering perennial with variegated leaves. Forming a low mound of ferny leaves, each mid-green leaflet is strongly edged in creamy white and is flushed with pink during the cooler spring weather. In mid to late spring this foliage is crowned with upright stems bearing clusters of light blue to white flowers. This delightful and colourful perennial is ideal for edging a partially shaded border, or for growing beside a woodland path.

Care guide

Cut the plant back straightaway after flowering to encourage a second flush of flowers. In autumn cut the faded flowerheads down to the ground and compost the dead stems.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
