Overview

Orange Fizz' gets its name from its lobed, zesty orange-scented leaves, rather than its flower colour. The plant produces pink and purple blooms with purple than its flower colour. The plant produces pink and purple blooms with purple markings on the upper petals throughout the spring and summer. Scented pelargoniums thrive in well-drained soil and are perfect for patio containers and borders and also make great conservatory plants where they should be placed in a spot with plenty of light, such as a south or west-facing outlook. To enjoy the fragrance throughout your home, place a few leaves in a bowl of water and allow the citrusy scent to circulate.

  • Garden care: Pot up your pelargoniums, but only place them outside in the garden after the risk of frost has passed. Remove the spent flowers as they fade, and keep them well fed using a dilute solution of a high-potash liquid fertiliser (Tomorite is ideal) at regular intervals. If you want to keep them over the winter, move them to a frost free environment and avoid overwatering during the colder months.

    Pots and Packaging
    Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

    Preparation
    The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
