Overview

Set the bar nice and high with this distinctive yellow and green variegated perennial grass. With gold bands running across the foliage, 'Gold Bar' sparkles later in the summer with feathery plumes of white flowers - a perfect match with Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' for a striking and contrasting display.

Care guide

Stems can be left through autumn and then cut down at the end of winter before new growth emerges. Feed with a general-purpose fertiliser during the growing season and once established, lift and divide over-large clumps in early spring as required.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
