Overview

Bright orange, late-summer flowering perennial. Found growing in meadows throughout Europe, this pretty, summer flowering perennial is a wonderful addition to a wildflower garden or naturalised planting scheme. It spreads by underground rhizomes and forms rosettes of glaucous, slightly hairy leaves. These form the backdrop from which upright, branching stems rise, carrying burnt orange flowerheads in summer. A tough litte plant that is rarely affected by pests and diseases and will thrive on poorer soils. Garden Care: Divide over-large clumps in spring or autumn.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
