Overview

A yellow and purple margin flowered viola pansy evergreen perennial. A deliciously fragrant, low growing perennial Viola with large cream-yellow flowers with a lilac fringe produced abundantly and in waves throughout the spring until early autumn. The elegant clumps of oval, dark green leaves spread to create a dense ground cover. Great for spilling over pathways and the front of borders, 'Etain' is also at home in rockeries, patio pots, and cottage garden schemes.

Care guide

Incorporate lots of well-rotted leaf mould or garden compost when planting. Protect young plants from slug damage using environmentally friendly slug pellets or beer traps. Deadhead the spent blooms to prolong flowering. Plants can be sheared back in early spring to remove tatty winter foliage.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
