Overview

This vibrant wallflower brings a burst of long-lasting colour to spring and early summer displays. Its upright, compact form and silvery-green foliage make a striking backdrop for clusters of rich, velvety purple blooms that carry a light, sweet scent.

Flowering over a long season, it pairs beautifully with tulips and other spring bulbs for bold contrast and texture. Ideal for pots, borders, or sunny spots in smaller gardens, it’s both drought-tolerant, once established, and maintenance.

Erysimum Colour Vibe Purple is a cheery perennial that provides vivid seasonal colour and sheltered garden performance.

Care guide

Growing Erysimum in well-drained soil/growing medium is advised. Where frosts are severe, provide horticultural fleece protection and mulch with a thick layer of well-rotted organic matter to insulate the roots against the cold. Trimming after flowering will help prevent the plant from becoming leggy.
