Overview

Waxed amaryllis bulbs are incredibly easy care houseplants, perfect for beginners and children. The bulbs arrive pre-planted on wire stands, ready to grow and bloom. Simply unpack and place in a cool, bright room. Over 3-6 weeks, thick stems will emerge and produce clusters of large, trumpet-shaped orange-red blooms. With no watering required, waxed amaryllis are a foolproof way to enjoy huge flowers in winter. Just open, display, and watch them grow and bloom!

Care guide

Avoid placing next to a radiator as the bulb will be happier in cooler conditions, and this will lengthen the flowering of the blooms.

please note, these amaryllis are most often treated as festive, decorative items as a seasonal, longer-lasting alternative to freshly cut flowers that are care-free and don't need watering. Peel off the wax prior to composting the bulb.
