Overview

A white and purple flowering perennial. 'White Lips' is a clump-forming semi-evergreen perennial with long, glossy green, deeply cut basal leaves. Imposing in stature, this bear's breeches has tall, spiny spikes of white flowers with purple hoods that are produced from early to late summer and last for several weeks. Plant these stately looking perennials within a cottage garden or relaxed planting scheme.

Care guide

Plant 'White Lips' incorporating well-rotted compost into the planting hole. To minimise the risk of powdery mildew taking hold ensure that the plant is watered well during hot, dry spells. Once established, rejuvenate and minimise congestion by lifting and dividing large clumps in or spring.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
