Overview

A delightful mix of four hardy heather varieties, specially chosen for their long-lasting and colourful flowers. While we can't specify the exact varieties received, this starter pack contains a diverse blend of heathers sure to enhance your garden. Grown in acidic soil, these adaptable evergreen shrubs are low maintenance once established, and you'll enjoy cheerful blooms in shades of purple, pink, and/or white that appear at different times from late summer through spring. The small leaves also provide interest, with hues ranging from green to grey to reddish-orange. Plant these tough yet delicate beauties together to create a sweeping carpet of texture and colour that look wonderful in beds, borders, rock gardens, and containers.

Care guide

When planting incorporate lots of composted pine needles, ericaceous compost, or leaf-mould into the planting hole. In March or April cut back the flowered shoots to within 2.5cm (1in) of the old growth.
