Overview

This unique 'Redbud' has a pronounced pendulous, multi-branching nature making it the finest weeping Cercis available. 'Golden Falls' is architecturally interesting in winter, and erupts into spring with heart-shaped, golden-green leaves followed by pretty pink pea-like flowers attractive to bees and butterflies. The eventual shape is a natural very tight columnar form. A small tree for gardens large or small or used to line an avenue or drive.

Care guide

Plant in their final location when young as they resent being transplanted. Requires minimal pruning. Remove any broken, diseased or crossing branches in late autumn or winter. When planting incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting hole and stake firmly.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Larger pots (2L and above) are wrapped in waxed paper and then attached to a cardboard base so they stay stable in the box. The waxed paper prevents the compost from spilling out and gives the base some added protection from damp compost. For large numbers of plants, pallets may be used for shipping.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
