Installation

  • Drive the stake firmly into the ground before planting or alongside the root ball, taking care not to damage the roots. Secure the tree using a soft tree tie in a figure of eight to allow gentle movement while preventing rubbing against the stake. Check ties regularly and loosen or replace them as the tree grows. Once the tree is well-established, typically after two to three years, remove the stake and tie to allow for natural development.

Material details

Crafted from sustainably sourced timber, each stake is pressure treated with a non-toxic preservative to help protect against rot, damp and fungal decay. The machine-rounded finish provides a smooth surface, while the timber naturally develops a silvery grey patina as it weathers outdoors.
