Overview

A pink and maroon flowering semi-evergreen perennial. Sumptuous pale pink blooms infused with a deep fuchsia pink central ring. From the cocktail range of pinks, comes the wonderfully scented 'Shirley Temple' in flower for many months between May to August. Great as a splash of colour in pots, containers and borders.

Care guide

Prefers soil enriched with well-rotted manure or garden compost and an application of a balanced fertiliser in spring. Dianthus should be trimmed back lightly after flowering to promote new growth at the base of plant. Prune more closely in spring, as new shoots emerge to maintain a tidy shape.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
