A dense covering of vivid, violet-blue flowers smothering neat, dark bronze-green foliage. This compact, half-hardy annual is perfect for rockeries, baskets and patio pots or for mixing with other lobelias to drift at the front of a sunny border. One of the darkest leaved and flowering blues, 'Crystal Palace' is certain to make a 'Great Exhibition' over the summer months. Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from. Grown in individual plug cells, each plant measures about 4 - 6cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden once all chance of frost has passed.
