Plant description

An upright grass with fluffy pink plumes. A useful, clump-forming, upright grass that will thrive in sun and partial shade, this is grown for its tall, fluffy flower heads that are silvery-grey with pinkish-purple tints. Creating a gently arching fountain of grey-green foliage, which takes on buttery shades in autumn. The emerging growth can be a bit tatty, so place it in the middle of the border. Its best planted in full sun as it tends to flop over more in shade. It has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
