Advice on hot and droopy plants
If your plants are looking a little wilted right now, don’t worry! Plants like to be filled with water to keep their structure, and when it’s hot that water evaporates.
Just give them an off-schedule watering and they’ll be right as rain in no time! Be careful not to flood them - plants don’t like extremes.

Why X? | Try something new with your climbing plants. Using a pole to support these plants is a splendid way to show off not only your plant, but also your skills as a gardener. Training a clematis or other climber to a pole creates a wonderful way to display your plant. Made of sturdy pine, this pole will provide a strong support for your plant, and whilst the wood will weather naturally, this will simply enhance the grain and let it settle into the background of your garden. This means that it is the climbing plant which will shine, rather than the pole being obvious. With the wire climbing in a spiral up the pole, this creates an efficient support system for the plant, as the wire gives it something to cling to as it climbs. The delicate natural tendrils of a clematis will look marvellous wrapped around this pole, with the help of a wire structure. Particularly in the case of the clematis, the pole is too big for most climbing plants to grasp, but with the wire support wrapped around the pole, most plants will easily use this structure to climb in a pleasing manner. |
