Providing that you take proper care of your metal gazebo, you can expect it to last for approximately ten years – potentially up to fifteen! Good quality metal gazebos like those you’ll find in our collection should be designed to prevent rust, which if you keep the metal gazebo up throughout the winter, is likely to develop otherwise.
Do you need planning permission for a metal gazebo?
This depends on two things – how long the gazebo is up for, and how tall the gazebo is.
You’re typically allowed to have a gazebo up for less than 28 days without planning consent, and structures less than 2.5 metres in height and less than 2 metres from the property boundary don’t usually require planning permission.
Do check with your local authority as local restrictions may apply.
