Overview

Sumptuous burgundy flowerheads. Holding a prestigeous Award of Garden Merit by the RHS, 'Burgundy Manor' is a strong-growing masterwort, that produces an abundance of rich burgundy coloured summer flowerheads, each laced with hints of softer pink and greenish white. Attractive to pollinating insects and good for cutting, it's also ideal for adding a bit of oomph to the colour scheme in the border.

Care guide

Incorporate plenty of organic matter when planting and water well in dry weather, especially newly established plants. Lift and divide large clumps in early spring and apply a generous 5-7cm mulch of well-rotted manure or garden compost around the plant. Divided specimens may take some time to establish since they don't like having their roots disturbed.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
