Overview

Emerging with an apricot/burgundy flush, the spicily scented flowers of 'Sugar Rush Purple Bicolour' turn lilac/purple as they mature. As F1 hybrids, these plants are tough and easy to grow - and they'll reliably put on a terrific display over a long period, from spring to early summer. Team them with tulips of daffodils and enjoy months of spring colour.

Care guide

Plant this 9cm pot straight out into well-prepared borders or into pots filled with a good quality potting mix. Apply a generous layer of mulch and provide overnight cloche or fleece protection where frosts are very severe or prolonged. Once they start to flower, regular deadheading will help extend the display.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
