Overview

First discovered by a nursery worker at Bailey Nurseries in Minnesota, USA, these were hailed by the renowned American horticulturalist, Dr. Michael Dirr as ìa horticultural miracle'' in his book 'Hydrangeas for American Gardens'. What sets them apart from other hydrangeas is that the Endless Summer range can flower on both new and old wood. That means you can enjoy the big clusters of white, flushed pink flowers from June to October. A fabulous, long flowering addition to the garden, they will also make a great informal hedge.

Care guide

Leave the old flower heads in place through the winter. As the new shoots start to emerge in spring cut back a third to a quarter of the previous season's flowering stems to the base and cut back the remaining flower heads to the first pair of buds.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Larger pots (2L and above) are wrapped in waxed paper and then attached to a cardboard base so they stay stable in the box. The waxed paper prevents the compost from spilling out and gives the base some added protection from damp compost. For large numbers of plants, pallets may be used for shipping.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
