Overview

Clusters of up to five pale yellow scented flowers, which fade to a delicious cream as they mature, appear on each stem in mid-spring. They will quickly spread to form good-sized clumps, so they are ideal for planting beneath deciduous trees or shrubs, where they will put on a wonderful early show.

Care guide

After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs' ability to store energy for the following year's flowers. After flowering, and while still in leaf, consider planting out into the garden for an annual display each spring.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
