Overview

This compact catmint tends to hold its shape better than most, so it's ideal for smaller spaces, pots or even low, informal hedging. The aromatic, grey-foliage offers the perfect backdrop for its larger than average, nectar-rich flowers, which often appear non-stop throughout the summer. Not only does it look great, it's also loved by bees and other beneficial insects.

Care guide

If cut back after the initial flowers have faded, this nepeta will usually go on to produce more. Lift and divide large clumps in spring, replanting divided specimens with lots of well-rotted organic matter. If powdery mildew becomes a problem prune out the affected areas.

Please note: This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
