Overview

A pink flowering herbaceous perennial. This is a game-changer; a prolifically flowering Salvia with soft, lilac-pink blooms from May to August and deeply cut, scented foliage. Reblooming in the autumn, Feathers Flamingo looks superb paired with Nepeta 'Walkers Low' and Allium 'Purple Sensation.

Care guide

When planting Feathers Flamingo incorporate some well-rotted garden compost or manure and some mycorrhizal fungi into the planting hole. To prolong flowering remove the flower spikes as soon as they start to fade. Apply a generous 5-7cm mulch of organic matter around the base of the plant in spring.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
