With its delicate appearance resembling moss, Salvinia natans emerges as a stunning annual floating aquatic fern, a delightful addition to any pond in the UK. Sporting two floating leaves and one submerged leaf, each plant showcases elliptical to ovate floating leaves adorned with dense stiff hairs on the upper surface, while the submerged leaves boast finely dissected structures ideal for nutrient absorption and oxygenation.
