A rhizomatous perennial, Canna lilies are excellent plants for adding an exotic touch to your garden. Although a little more tender than other plants, once summer arrives, their large, iris-like flowers become a sight to behold. With so many colours to choose from, Canna lilies will look beautiful in a mixed tropical border, ideally interspersed with ornamental grasses.
