Commonly called 'Tickseed', Coreopsis plants are greatly reminiscent of summer with their warm-coloured, daisy-like flowers. With some perennials, and other annuals, Coreopsis plants are perfect for growing in the sunnier parts of your garden and are generally quite robust too. A personal favourite of ours is 'Red Elf', a compact variety that sports gorgeous, ruby red petals.
