A clear garden pond is made easy with barley straw. Considered to be one of the most effective products available in today's market, it's safe for fish, pond life and aquatic plants with no nasty chemicals and all-natural ingredients.

Installation

The product is easy to use; simply remove from the outer packaging and put it in your pond. The flakes will quickly absorb water and sink so there's no unsightly surface debris.

It's best to begin use of pond flakes at the beginning of spring when conditions are right for the growth of algae and weeds etc but there's no reason not to start at any time of year. At the time of installation, we would recommend removing any surface weeds yourself to give the flakes the best chance and get a crystal clear pond for the remainder of the season.
