The robust, ergonomic handle allows you to safely tip the coals into your barbecue once they are alight. A steel heat guard deflects the heat away from your hands, preventing burns from being caused. The lighting holes at the base of the product enable a flow of oxygen into the structure to encourage the flames to grow and spread. Simply put some newspaper at the base of the charcoal starter and pile the coals on top; ignite the newspaper and coals from below and the coals will be ready in no time.
