This wonderful mix of nuts and CalVita supplements are going to appeal to a variety of bird breeds.

To open: unzip the bag and pour the seeds into a feeder. You can also scatter the seeds on tables or put them in a ground feeder or tray.

To retain a happy and hygienic environment for the wild birds make sure they have an abundance of water. To avoid the spreading of bacteria and diseases make sure to keep the food fresh and dry and that the drinking and feeding areas are cleaned with a mild disinfectant.

CalVita

Inside the bird food there is a supplement which is unique to Peckish, CalVita. The main purpose of CalVita is to provide wild birds with all the necessary minerals and vitamins they need to stay healthy. The calcium inside aids the growth of bones and feathers, and helps boost egg production. Vitamins such as A, D, E and Biotin are all present, encouraging the growth and development of the birds' beaks and bones. Finally, the supplement contains Carotenoids which protects them from the sunlight and retains and develops their feather colour.

Kibbled Wheat , Red Millet, Red Dari, Kibbled Maize, Sunflower Hearts, Flaked Naked Oats, White Millet , Naked Oats, Safflower, Pinhead Oats, Kibbled Peanuts, Oyster Shell Grit.

Will attract the following birds

Dunnock, Robin, House Sparrow, Goldfinch, Bullfinch ,Blue Tit, Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Coal Tit, Long Tailed Tit, Great Tit, Song Thrush, Blackbird, Nuthatch and many more.

Where to site

Site your feeder 2 metres from cover to make the feeder visible, whilst providing a safe place to retreat. Put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight.

Feeding tips

With food resources scarcer in winter, it is essential to feed garden birds all year round. Once you have started to feed the birds it is important to continue this, and develop a routine, as the birds will become reliant upon your help.
