Plant description

A vigorous, twining, deciduous climber that is smothered in clusters of fragrant pale pink flowers in June and July. Since it spreads quickly in all directions, it's ideal for covering a large south or west-facing wall or an unsightly garden building. Or try training it through a robust tree. To best appreciate the fragrant flowers choose a sheltered, sunny, well-drained site close to a house entrance or well-used path. In small gardens, it is better planted in a pot and trained up a trellis or wall.

Care guide

After flowering remove old and overcrowded shoots. Prune hard in autumn to keep it within bounds, but be warned that flowering will be retarded the following year.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Larger pots (2L and above) are wrapped in waxed paper and then attached to a cardboard base so they stay stable in the box. The waxed paper prevents the compost from spilling out and gives the base some added protection from damp compost. For large numbers of plants, pallets may be used for shipping.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
