Good root growth and support is vital for new trees until they get established. Trees are one of the costliest plants you’ll buy for your garden and will last longer than your lifetime, so get them off to the best possible start with our Tree Planting Kit.
We’ve put together a kit that’s delivered with your tree* so you can plant straight away with no risk to its delicate rootball.
Included is a 1.2m tree stake, a super-soft tie and Empathy rootgrow™, which includes Mycorrhizal Fungi to encourage enhanced root growth. (Each product can be bought separately with extras from the empathy range.)

Application of Empathy rootgrow™ Mycorrizal Fungi
Follow these simple steps to planting success with Rootgrow™- 1. Dig planting hole as normal.
- 2. Sprinkle just enough granules to cover the base of the plant in the bottom of the hole. Do not mix in.
- 3. Place the plant in the hole directly on top of the granules. The granules must come into direct contact with the roots.
- 4. Backfill as normal with compost/soil.
- 5. If using additional fertiliser add as a top dress or in backfill.
- 6. Add mulch as required.
