Overview

A bedding plant with divided, grey-green leaves and white daisy-like flowers. Position: full sun Soil: well drained, moderately fertile soil Rate of growth: average Flowering period: April to September Hardiness: tender (needs frost protection) Beautiful Ivory-white daisy heads mellowing to a golden centre mark this showstopping tender summer perennial is one to consider for seasonal patio pots and border bedding schemes. Bursting from neat, bushy mounds of finely-divided, grey-green leaves, the flowers of 'Grandaisy Ivory White' bloom abundantly until the first frosts. Supplied as rooted cuttings. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 - 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). Delivered in plastic-free packaging, they are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse, where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting outside after all risk of frost has passed. Please note: We grow these especially for you, so we do request that full payment is made when you place your order. See above for despatch dates for this particular plant. To ensure that your plants arrive in the best possible condition each pack will be despatched individually. Please also be aware that the pot in the photo is not included. Garden care: Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed or patio pot. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushiness and apply a deep, dry mulch around the base of the plant in autumn if planted in open ground and protect with cloches or plant protection fleece if hard frost is forecast. If top growth is damaged by the frost, the plants often re-grow from the base in spring. While a perennial, marguerites are often grown as annuals.
